Nine-year-old Phathutshedzo Raphalalani from Khubvi is causing a stir in his village as well as nearby villages with his remarkable musical prowess.

Reggae and gospel singer Rofhiwa Nethwadzi released his long-awaited second album, Ndi nne onoula, on Saturday, 25 November. The reggae album contains 13 songs and two bonus tracks. Rofhiwa (33) was born in Tshiheni village but later moved to Tshirenzheni village, in Nzhelele. He currently works as a Paralegal at a law firm in Johannesburg, but making music on the side remains a big part of him.

Rhumba music lovers are in for a real treat this coming festive season as popular Tshivenda Rhumba musician Steven Maphangule, popularly known as Makuya and Mvelelo Express, finished recording another hot new album, titled Tshipfumi, last Saturday. The album will be officially released in Polokwane on 2 December.
Reggae artist Livhuwani Stanley Mafanya-Nemushungwa, better known as Croco Mitval, has come a long way since he was a young boy playing the guitar and drums that he had made himself out of tin cans.
Although he only took his seat behind the mic for the first time five months ago, Uhone Mulaudzi is already becoming a household name on the airwaves.
