United Artists and XI Bullets in important Motsepe clash

The battle for promotion and to escape relegation will continue this weekend among teams in the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League. Four matches are scheduled for Friday afternoon at various locations in the province, with the remaining eight set to take place on Saturday afternoon.

Tshifulanani Stadium will be a hive of activity on Saturday for the much-anticipated clash between United Artists and Vondwe XI Bullets. Although they will have home-ground advantage, defeating XI Bullets will be a formidable challenge for United Artists. Bullets struggled at the start of the season, losing 0-1 to Munaca FC in their first league match. However, the team addressed some initial issues and subsequently defeated Maruleng Celtic 2-0 before trouncing Black Leopards 4-1 last Saturday. United Artists, by contrast, have managed only three goalless draws this season.

Mpheni Defenders will compete for league points against Nkowankowa Continentals at Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen, relying on Rophney Hlungwane and Gift Nemutandani for goals. Musina United will host Munaca FC at the Musina Rugby Stadium.

The Tzaneen derby between Tzaneen United and Bellevue Winners Park will also be held at Nkowankowa Stadium. Additional weekend fixtures include: Tlhotlhokwe Golden Syrup vs. Maruleng Celtic, White Vultures vs. Black Leopards, Mokopane PJ Stars vs. The Dolphins FC, Mighty FC vs. Ditlou FC, and Lebash Football Academy vs. Eleven Fast Tigers.
