Read: 249

Walter Nkuna, a highly talented rhumba musician from Mpheni village, released his third album last month, titled Tshinwe na Tshinwe Tshina Tshifhinga, which means "everything has its own time." The album, featuring five songs, encourages his fans to understand the importance of patience.

Nkuna has impressed music fans by appearing alongside popular bands such as Malume Shinabya and Shitlamu Boys, Tshifhiwa Rabambukwa, and the acclaimed Tshigomboza, Zozo, and Khakhathi Band, where he played guitar and drums. On his latest album, Walter shares his experiences and encourages listeners to wait for the right moment, just as he has done throughout his music journey.

By releasing Tshinwe na Tshinwe Tshina Tshifhinga, Walter hopes to inspire his fans to stay patient and keep believing in their dreams, no matter how long it takes.

“I noticed that many people are impatient, so I decided to encourage them to wait for the right time. I believe that victory is within reach, and with God's help, victory is certain, but only when the time is right. The song Vivho alibadeli (Jealousy Does Not Pay) received an exceptional response. I want my fans to celebrate when someone succeeds in life, as jealousy does not pay,” he said.

He took a break from releasing music from 2021 to focus on improving his craft. “I learned that making quality music takes a lot of hard work. I want my music to not only make people dance but also communicate and heal them. However, making a living from music is now harder compared to the era of selling CDs,” he said.
