An award-winning gospel artist, Thabelo Thavhanyedza, and her colleagues will participate in a worship night shortly before Christmas at the Rhema The Beautiful Gate Church in Mulodi village in Thengwe.
The worship night, which was organized by Thabelo and her brother, Rabelani Thavhanyedza, will be held on December 22, starting on 17:00 until late.
Other artist who will perform include Andiswa (from Taki Joyous Celebration) Lombard Matshinge, Takie Ndou, Takalani Cairo Ndou, Thuli Maumela, Hani Mutele, Rofhiwa Manyaga and other artists.
The worship night will also serve as an introduction for Rabelani (Thavhanyedza), Thabelo’s brother, to music lovers. Rabelani is an inspiring gospel artist who is still to record an album.
Meanwhile, Thabelo, who only has two albums to her name, is already a household artist who has won six awards.
Her first album, Kharendwe Yeso was recorded in 2013 during the Manyaga’s Star Search musical project that she won the previous year. Her second album, His Glory, was released on 17 October 2016. Since it was released, His Glory, has won her six awards.
She won Best Female and Best Gospel Artist of the Year during the Tshima Music Awards in 2016, while she was also awarded Best Worship Album, Best Female Artist and Best Artist of the Year in the Gauteng Gospel Music Awards. Her sixth award was for Best Album of the Year during the Ingoma Awards.

Former Tshakhuma Community Radio Station presenter Abednego Muhali, known by his radio nickname “Mr ooh yeess,” joined Nzhelele-based community radio Nzhelele FM last month. He currently hosts the Nzhelele FM afternoon drive show, known as the R523 Afternoon Drive “Buluvhutsi Dzheke,” every weekday from 15:00 to 18:00.
A gifted young hip-hop artist from Mpheni Block C, Rolivhuwa Nyadzane, better known as Blvck Phanda, released his first hip hop EP, “Senseful Echo”, on 30 April, and his fans are already going crazy over it.
A local actor, Nyambeni Robert Munyamela, wants to establish his own production company to train aspiring television actors from the area, enabling them to compete equally with others nationwide.
After observing the many questions that children typically pose to their parents, such as those about love affairs and how to find the right partner, a well-known general medical practitioner in Thohoyandou, Dr Lutendo Samson Muremela, decided to try and answer these in a book.
