Another tricky hurdle lies ahead of Lacoste Morning Stars

With only seven matches remaining before the end of the season, teams competing in the Limpopo Stream of the Sasol Women’s League will try their utmost to collect league points this weekend.

After collecting the maximum points at the expense of Sinthumulekutama FC, whom they beat 2-1 at the Tshitungulwane Grounds last Saturday, Rodadau FC will be on the road this Saturday to visit Lacoste Morning Stars at the Shayandima School Grounds.

Morning Stars have only pride at stake in the match. The team is already out of the league title race. They are currently lying in fourth position on the log standings with 14 points, 14 points behind the pace setters, Sinthumulekutama FC. For Rodadau to underestimate their opponents, however, would be foolish. Morning Stars managed to hold Sealene Ladies to a 1-1 draw despite playing away from home.

Sinthumulekutama are awaiting Merwe United Ladies at the Sinthumule High School Grounds. Should they fail to beat Merwe on Saturday, Sinthumulekutama will have only themselves to blame. Merwe are yet to win a league match this season, having managed to deposit only three points into their league account in 11 outings.

Sealene Ladies will play their second home match in a row when they host Real Mighty Ladies at the Lulekani Stadium in Ba-Phalaborwa. Masakona Liberty Experience will visit Sisters FC at the Dynamos Grounds in Bolobedu outside Tzaneen. Mandebele Happy Fighters Ladies will host Kanatla Ladies at the Botlokwa Grounds in Groblersdal. The other fixtures are Dinaledi Ladies vs. Maindis Ladies and Marumo Gallants vs. Golden Diamond Ladies.

Embracing the Future with Artisanal Skills

As South Africa continues its pursuit of economic growth and industrial sustainability, attention is being drawn to a crucial yet often overlooked segment of the workforce: artisans. Acknowledging this need, the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA) has become a major role player in the Decade of the Artisan (DoA) initiative of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
