Will Young Stars pay for Rodadau’s defeat?

The ball will continue to roll this weekend for teams affiliated with the Limpopo Stream of the Sasol Women’s League. Seven matches are scheduled for Saturday, with only one match slated for Sunday afternoon.

All eyes will be on the match between Lacoste Morning Stars and Sinthumulekutama FC at the Shayandima School Grounds on Saturday. Morning Stars must aim to collect maximum points to revive their hope for promotion at the end of the season. Their chances of promotion were jeopardised when they lost 0-1 to Sisters FC at the Dynamos Grounds in Bolobedu, outside Tzaneen, last Saturday.

Sinthumulekutama are fresh from a 2-1 victory over Tshandama Young Stars at the Tshandama Grounds. Sinthumulekutama remains the only team yet to lose a league match this season, currently leading with 25 points from nine outings. Morning Stars were defeated 1-2 by Sinthumulekutama in their first-round league match at the Sinthumule High School Grounds on Sunday, 5 May.

Whether Tshandama Young Stars will make Rodadau pay for last Saturday's defeat remains to be seen. They will host Rodadau FC at the Tshandama Grounds. Rodadau are still coming to terms with their 1-2 defeat by Masakona Liberty Experience at the Thohoyandou Stadium.

Masakona Liberty Experience will take on Merwe United Ladies at the Masakona Grounds. Liberty Experience will pin their hopes on Ndivhuwo Sundani and Munei Nemuramba for goals, while defenders Thembani Marema and Murendeni Munyai will be expected to keep their area secure throughout the game. Sisters FC will play against Sealene Ladies at the Dynamos Grounds in Bolobedu, outside Tzaneen, in the only match scheduled for Sunday.
