Tshikombani 's Lindai (11) takes the modelling world by storm

At only 11 years of age, Lindai Sadiki has already made a significant mark in the world of beauty pageants. She has won several prestigious titles, including Little Miss Vhembe Supranatural Queen 2022, Little Miss Limpopo First Princess 2023, Little Miss Nation SA Winner 2024, Miss Photogenic Junior 2024, and Mr & Miss United World SA Best Upcoming Model Junior 2025.

This young beauty queen from Tshikombani Village in Nzhelele is set to represent her village at the second Miss Supranatural pageant, which will be held in Thohoyandou in September.

Lindai, a Grade 6 learner at Nanga Primary School, is not just a pretty face but embodies the true essence of “beauty with brains.” Lindai dreams of becoming a doctor, driven by a deep desire to help her family and community members when they are sick. “I believe my purpose in this world is to help others in need. I joined modelling because I want to inspire others and also help the less fortunate by donating,” she said.

As a Supranatural finalist, Lindai advocates for all children to have access to the same opportunities as their more privileged peers. She emphasises the importance of confidence and self-acceptance and is dedicated to ensuring that every child has access to free and proper education.

Lindai will be joining other talented girls from across the country in the competition, in the hope of bringing the crown home. The Mr and Miss Supranatural pageant is an international event that allows both males and females to showcase their talents.

Embracing the Future with Artisanal Skills

Acknowledging this need, the Manufacturing, Engineering and Related Services Sector Education and Training Authority (merSETA) has become a major role player in the Decade of the Artisan (DoA) initiative of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
