Gospel greats come together for empowering female 'Her Mantle Tour'

Gospel-music enthusiasts in Limpopo are gearing up for the ultimate gospel music show. The event, dubbed Her Mantle Tour, kicks off on 25 October in Johannesburg at the Rhema Bible Church. The Venda leg of this much-anticipated all-female tour will take place at the Christ Worship House in Shayandima on 15 November.

The tour will visit 11 cities, bringing together a host of talented female voices. In addition to top local gospel stars such as Vhahangwele, Thabelo Thavhanyedza, Voice Mulaudzi, Maru Rahulani, Takie Sikhwivhilu, and Rinae Nema, the line-up also includes renowned gospel greats such as Lebo Sekgobela, Ntokozo Mbambo, Hle, Mmatema, Chairo, and Rorisang Thandekiso.

One of the tour co-ordinators, Ms Patience Dagada of DADO Communications, said that preparations for this all-female show were complete. “We are ready to go and have not left anything to chance. We have brought together the crème de la crème of the South African female gospel scene. Apart from the national stars, many local artists will also showcase their talents. The interest shown has been overwhelming, and we are hoping for a full house,” she said.

Ms Samantha Madzibane, another co-ordinator, shared her thoughts on the tour: “The vision and mandate of this tour are to touch lives through the word and worship ministry and to connect with audiences in different parts of the world. The all-female line-up highlights the pivotal role of women in ministry and seeks to demonstrate the power, love, and grace of the Almighty,” she said.
