Miss Venda Plus Size auditions

Mudifho Empire Entertainment is bringing the Miss Venda Plus-Size Beauty Pageant 2019 auditions to Thohoyandou.

The auditions will be held at the 2010 Centre on 5 July at 10:00.

The contestants in the teen category must be between the ages of 14 and 19 and they must be size 34 upwards. In the main category, the contestants must be between the ages of 20 and 30 and they must be size 38 upwards. The dress code is blue jeans, white top and heels.

The pageant was started in 2017 and it caters for plus-size models.

The founder of the pageant, Nadney Mulaudzi, said that they wanted to develop and improve the plus-size models’ self-esteem and confidence for public speaking. "We want to empower, encourage and give opportunity to plus-size women to showcase their beauty. We believe that beauty has nothing to do with size; everyone is beautiful," he said.
