“It showed me that I was making a difference out there musically,” he said. “My sound has penetrated the genre. Music is a healing process and it always has its way of touching hearts. Just make sure that you do not miss the new album when it is finally out on 15 April,” he said.

“This new album is a double-disc project, featuring 38 songs,” he added. “To say I am happy would be an understatement. In fact, I am overjoyed. I have worked hard on this project and I was lucky enough to collaborate with some of the most talented and skilled rappers who each brought different flavours to the project.”

Racha Kill, who hails from Ngovhela village, features some of the best Venrap artists on his album. They include PnBoy, Rarri, Prefer, Jr player, Wukid, Mizophyll, Ramzeey and Prifix. “To me, music is life, and I started enjoying it from a young age, when I was just a kid,” he said. “As people, we need to create more music and value and enjoy it.”

He is also an extensively played artist on every street, in taxis and cars and at taxi ranks in the district. The general consensus is that people seem to enjoy his music.

“My music is a flavour of traditional hip hop with an inspiration of international feel,” he said.
