United Artists and Happy Boys on warpath

After a break of about four weeks, the teams affiliated with the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League will be back in action this weekend. Nine matches will be played on Saturday afternoon, with only one scheduled for Friday afternoon.

United Artists must beat Giyani Happy Boys when they meet at Makhuvha Stadium on Saturday to ease the pressure on the team. Things are not going according to plan in Artists’ camp as they have managed to collect only one point in the three matches they have played to date. Happy Boys are closely contesting for the league title, only three points behind the pace setters, Vondwe XI Bullets.

Vondwe XI Bullets will rub shoulders with Madridtas FC. Madridtas, who acquired their ABC Motsepe League franchise from Black Leopards at the beginning of this season, are still battling to find a winning combination and secure a victory.

Mpheni Home Defenders will travel to Musina, where they will play against Musina United at the Musina Rugby Stadium. Emmanuel FC will host Munaca FC at the Giyani Stadium. Maruleng Celtic and Winners Park will fight for points at Drakensberg Stadium outside Phalaborwa.

The other fixtures are City Motors vs Mighty FC, Eleven Tigers vs Tzaneen United, Sun Rise FC vs The Dolphins FC, Tubaste United vs Mokopane PJ Stars, and Nkowankowa Continentals vs Ditlou FC.
