PSL confirms dates and venues for Nedbank Cup fixtures

 

The waiting is over. The Premier Soccer League (PSL) confirmed the dates and venues for the last-32 round fixtures for the Nedbank Cup KO competition on Tuesday. The opening matches will be played next Friday, 4 February, while the last batch is scheduled for Sunday, 13 February.

Two matches will be played next Friday. The first match will be between the University of Pretoria FC and Chippa United at the Absa Tuks Stadium in Pretoria. The game is scheduled to start at 15:00. Richards Bay FC will host Mamelodi Sundowns at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban later in the evening.

Two matches will be played the following day. Swallows FC will entertain TS Sporting FC at the Dobsonville Stadium in Johannesburg, starting at 15:00. The last fixture for the day will be between Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) and Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Thohoyandou Stadium. This one is scheduled to kick off at 18:00.

Only one match will be played on Sunday, 6 February. It will be between Orlando Pirates and Amazulu at the Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.

Venda Football Academy (VFA) will wait until Wednesday, 9 February, to play their match. They will host African All Stars at the Thohoyandou Stadium. This match is scheduled to start at 15:00. Maritzburg United and Supersport United will lock horns at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg later in the evening.

Uthongathi FC will try their luck against Summerfield Dynamos at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban, while Stellenbosch FC and Baroka FC will test each other’s strength at the Danie Craven Stadium outside Cape Town in the two matches that will be played on Friday, 11 February. The fixtures for Saturday, 12 February are NP Professional vs Mathaithai FC, Platinum City Rovers vs Sekhukhune United, Royal AM vs Cape Town City and Kaizer Chiefs vs TS Galaxy. The three fixtures for Sunday, 13 February, are Black Eagles vs Sivutsa Stars, Marumo Gallants vs Santos FC and Sinenkani FC vs Free State Stars.
