The affiliates of the Multichoice Diski Challenge will be in action again this weekend after the festive-season break.
While the main Black Leopards team will host SuperSport United at the Thohoyandou Stadium tomorrow afternoon, the Multichoice Diski Challenge Lidoda Duvha team are gearing up for an away fixture against Highlands Park FC.
They will fight for league points at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa tomorrow morning (Saturday) at 10:00. Leopards have every reason to press the panic button. They are still to win a league match to date. Their best result has been a draw and they are currently perched in the second-last position on the log.
According to the team’s head coach, Mr Justice Matloga, his side will soon bounce back and make the fans happy again. He appealed to the team’s fans to remain calm, saying his team was ready to register their first victory against Highlands Park tomorrow.
He mentioned that his strikers, Thembisani Nevhulamba, Ivan Mahangwahaya and Xolani Ndlovu, were sharpened to kill.
In the two matches that will be staged at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium in East London, Cape Town City will battle it out with Mamelodi Sundowns and Baroka FC and Kaizer Chiefs will meet after the first match.
Lamontville Golden Arrows will be away to meet SuperSport United at the Absa Tuks Stadium in Pretoria. Arrows must win the match as they are one of the relegation candidates.
Amazulu will host Bloemfontein Celtic in Durban on Sunday, while Polokwane City will clash with Bidvest Wits in East London.
The other matches are Free State Stars vs Maritzburg United and Chippa United vs Orlando Pirates in East London.
