Muduluni champions of Masters tournament

Muduluni Masters became the champions of the Kutama Masters tournament when they beat Madodonga Masters 2-1 at Madodonga on Sunday.

What makes the victory sweeter for Muduluni is that only nine players pitched up for the game and everyone played his part to overcome the disadvantage. It was evident from the start that Muduluni were going to collect full points, as the Madodonga were outclassed in all departments.

Madodonga's Rasi Ramphai shot wide from close range after receiving a pre-cooked pass from Squadi Machaba.

It took Muduluni 27th minutes to open their account. Their all-rounder, Khathutshelo Kutama, was on target, following a neat pass from Mpho Moshapo. Takalani Kutama of Muduluni was reprimanded with a card for dangerous play on Tebokgo Ratshivhungula in the 30th minute.

Caiven Mudau equalised in the 38th minute.

In the second half, Muduluni scored their second goal via Khathuthselo Mutshidzi. He won the ball just behind the centre line and ran towards the right corner from where he dished up a square pass to Fhatuwani Kutama. Kutama beat the keeper, Godran Malugana, with a ground cutter to give his side a 2-1 lead.

The players who went to the referee's book for different infringements are: keeper Kenny Ravhuhali (Muduluni) and Micheal Mohau of Madodonga.
