Fhautuwani Mulaudzi releases a new album

Read: 1504

A new album by classic artist Fhatuwani Mulaudzi from Mpheni Block D is making waves in the music industry. Released about a month ago, the album, titled “Pfumo la Zwivhuya,” features tracks such as “Mufunwa”, “Ndofuna”, “Ndoneta”, and “Tshisafheli”.

Mulaudzi attributes his success to the unwavering support from his manager, relatives, family members, and friends, whom he describes as his pillars of strength. “This is my best album ever, and that is why I dedicated it to the Lord, giving thanks for all He has done for me. The road thus far has not always been smooth, but the Lord helped me soldier on and on,” Mulaudzi stated.

In addition to his musical career, Mulaudzi coaches young and aspiring artists, helping them with their recordings. He emphasised that producing a quality album annually is challenging, as it requires ample time to compose and arrange high-quality music. He also expressed his frustration with music pirates, who he believes are undermining the livelihood of artists and contributing to the decline of the music industry.

Despite the challenges, Mulaudzi manages to make a living by performing at small venues across the country. “Big promoters overlook us for big gigs, but we are able to make a living from the shows we have all over the country. With the support we are getting, we will not tire of giving our fans good music,” he said.

His latest album is a gift to his loyal fans who have supported him through thick and thin. Mulaudzi revealed that he had intended to take a break, but pressure from his fans had compelled him to return to the studio to record this album.

All the songs on the album were recorded at Xinare Entertainment Records, under the management of Mr Solly Mkhawane.
