The rise of Bernelee Juniper

Read: 2444

Bernelee Juniper (18) is a talented young lady who is progressively claiming her space in the modelling industry.

She is widely regarded as one of the most dazzling models in the making and is often cited as one of Limpopo’s ever-promising ‘beauties with brains’.

Bernelee is the daughter of multitalented Phalaphala FM presenter Wonder Juniper. Her friendliness goes way beyond the expression. “My sister inspired me to be a model; everything she touches turns to gold. Her way of dressing is so stylish, with colours collaborating and catching every eye,” she said.

So far, she has collected several pageant awards and prizes. She was crowned second princess at the Miss Bordeaux competition, then the Queen of Bordeaux and then Miss Cosmo City. Just last year, she was among the top five finalists for Miss Musina FM.

Bernelee sees herself joining Miss South Africa in the next four years. “I have the potential, and I am hungry for a big achievement,” she said. “I feel like I am not far from it.”

She said that if she were to get an opportunity to work with a well-known brand as a model, she would choose any brand that promoted stability, ubuntu, love, and a healthy lifestyle and living. “I've been a model for local brands, and I accumulated a lot of skills and knowledge from those brands,” she said. “It is surely high time that I join big, national brands. I call that growth.”

She thanked ZakesHildas brand, a modelling agency, for the opportunity that they had afforded her by supporting her to spread her wings as a model and fly higher. “The brand seems to be on the right track in helping upcoming models, musicians and other unnamed categories. But all in all, I appreciate the work they're doing for the youth,” she said. “May the Lord continue to open ways for them as they further their dreams.”

ZakesHildas can be reached via their Facebook page (ZakesHildas).
