The 24-year-old singer and songwriter from Waterval, Clement “Clemour” Ngobeni, continues to shine more brightly on M-Net’s TV competition, The Voice South Africa.
Two weeks ago he performed brilliantly to proceed to the next round of the competition. He is a member of Team Kahn, led by The Parlotones’ Kahn Morbee. The four judges in the competition each chose 14 candidates during the “blind” auditions. These candidates are pitted against each other in a “sing-off” and only one can proceed to the next round.
The judges labelled and described Clemour as “a dynamo”, “crazy” and “feisty” after he “literally roared” whilst singing Katy Perry’s song Roar.
A resident of Waterval Section A, Clemour is currently residing in Midrand.
Clemour said that his fans should expect the unexpected for his next performance.
“I want the world to know what I am made of,” said Clemour. “Expect some blues and soul, just me”.
