Dzondzo circuit recognises top achievers

The Vhumbedzi circuit manager, Mr Livhuwani Phophi, has warned Grade 12 pupils in Dzondo circuit to be careful when choosing their friends. Mr Phophi was motivating the pupils during the Dzondo circuit excellence awards held at Calvary Christian church in Lwamondo last Friday (February 28).

Mr Phophi told the pupils that their choice of friends was very important as it could serve as motivation to work harder. He said the way to pass Grade 12 exceptionally well was to have dreams and focus on achieving them. “Achieving great success means a lot of sacrifice. Be loyal to the school regulations and dream every day. For you to succeed, you must finish everything you do like a professional,” he told pupils.

During the excellence awards, teachers and pupils who had performed exceptionally well last year were awarded certificates and trophies. Lwamondo Secondary received top honours, with a pass rate of 95.8%, whilst Nndamuleleni Secondary acquired position two and Tshiemuemu ended third in the circuit. Dzondo Circuit acquired a 89.1% pass rate in last year’s Grade 12 results.
