Gogobole Bucs outsmart Madombidzha 2-1

Gogobole Bucs beat Madombidzha Try Again 2-1 in their Limpopo Dairy league match at Madombidzha on Saturday.

They approached the match like a house on fire, with their midfielders distributing some telling passes to the strikers. They threatened to score seven minutes into the match when Fhulufhelo Ramabulana forced his way through the defence of Try Again before passing the ball to Lutendo Mabasa. His attempt missed the target by inches.

That did not demoralize his team mates. In the 24th minute, a defender of Try Again handled the ball inside the penalty area and the referee pointed to the white spot. Thomas Mhlongo scored from the spot. Bucs were still one goal up when the teams adjourned for half time.

The second half saw Try Again pressing hard in search of more goals. Realizing that their chances were slim, Bucs abandoned their positions and packed themselves at the far back.

Try Again enjoyed more ball possession and eventually scored via Andani Makhado. The winning goal for Bucs was scored by Lutendo Ramaliba. He hit the back of the net after he finished off a square pass from Hulisani Funyufunyu late in the game.
