Eight teams will be battle it out in the Premjee & Son Stokvel Community Cup this weekend. This will be the eighth edition of the popular competition, organised by Mamu Community Development.
All matches will be played at the Mabaleng Sports Grounds in Tshiozwi Village. On Saturday, at 09:00, Madabani Green Mambas come up against Ravele Highlanders. A t 11:30, Madombidzha Angry City Lions will compete against Hollywoodbets Mabaleng Development. The afternoon matches will be between Tshikota Chelsea and Mubva All Stars (starting 13:30) and Tshiozwi Dynamos and Maebani Soccer Academy (starting at 15:30).
The semi-finals and finals will take place on Sunday, also at Mabaleng Sports Grounds.
The winner of the tournament will go home with R20,000, a soccer kit, gold medals and a floating trophy. The winning teams will also receive hampers and soccer balls.
