Promotion battles continue in MMK

With only a few matches remaining before the end of the MMK Administrators League soccer season, most of the teams are already sure of places in the promotional playoffs.

Although they still have two matches to play, Marhavi FC have already started with their preparations for the annual event. They are leading the pack in Stream A1 with 53 points, nine ahead of the second-placed side, Muchipise Happy Fighters.

United Artists also have reason to believe that nothing will stop them from partaking in the promotional playoffs at the end of the season. Artists are currently shining on top of Stream A2 with 48 points. Basel FC, who are in the second position, have deposited 35 points into their league account so far.

The other team that is sure of a place in the playoffs is Madridtas FC. They are dictating terms in Stream B1 with 61 points, 21 in front of the second-placed Zwaloni Young Stars.

The struggle for promotion in Stream B2 is among Tshimuthe FC, Matangari Rising Stars and Mukula Young Santos. The other stream whose champions have not yet been decided is C1. SMSA FC and Ngwenani Young Chiefs are in the first and second places with 46 and 41 points respectively.

Mukula Fast Eleven are the champions in Stream C2. Tshivhazwaulu Peace Makers were crowned the champions in Stream D1 last weekend, despite the fact that they still have two matches to play before the end of the season. The fight for promotion in Stream D2 is between Manamani FC and Univen FC.

Tshikhwani Stone Breakers and Magau United are in a neck-and-neck situation on 47 points each in Stream E1. Makhitha Oscar Stars have already booked a place in the promotional playoffs. They are on top of Stream E2. The Stream F1 champions are still to be decided. Mukondeni Shooting Stars and Mashamba Soccer Academy are closely contesting for the title on 40 points each.

Bungeni Young Tigers and Masakona Young Tigers are the contenders in Stream F2. Rabali Pull Together and Matanda Rockers are in the top two positions in Stream G2. Tshiungani Young Chiefs are the leaders in Stream H1. The other teams gearing up for the promotional playoffs are Maelula United Brothers and Berea FC.
