Mamu and KFC tournament for Nzhelele teams

 

Eight teams will battle it out in the KFC Pre-Season Cup 2019 tournament, which will be held at Ha-Mandiwana village in the Nzhelele area.

All matches will be played at the Gadabi Grounds on 15 and 16 December. The fixtures are as follows: Siloam X1 Bullets vs Monaco Rangers (09:00), Matsa All Stars vs Mavhunga Home Sweepers (11:00), Tshikuwi XI Stars vs Mudimeli Bombers (13:00) and Matshavhawe Come 2 See vs Matanda Juventers (15:00).

“We are taking the tournament to Makhado Local Football Association's (MALFA) Nzhelele Stream's teams this time around,” said Mamu Community Development's general secretary, Mr Jafter Mamugudubi. “The champions will receive a R10 000 cash prize, 30 medals, a soccer kit, a floating trophy and hampers. We will also be doing talent scouting for the best players who will then go to Gauteng for trials to see that they get to play with development academies that side.”

The second-placed team will receive a R2000 cash prize and a soccer kit, while teams 3 and 4 will receive R2 000 each.

The semi-final and final matches will be played on Monday (16 December).
