Mikhado and Dolphins in Motsepe clash

After playing their midweek game against Venda Football Academy (VFA) at the Tshifudi Stadium on Wednesday afternoon, Mikhado FC will be back home this weekend. They will host The Dolphins FC at the Rabali Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

The fact that Mikhado and Dolphins are closely contesting for the league title is reason enough for the local football fanatics to expect to watch a thriller. Mikhado were in the second spot on the log standings with 21 points accumulated from 11 matches before their match against VFA on Wednesday.

Mikhado’s new head coach, Mr Abel Makhubele, will be sitting on the team’s technical bench for the second time tomorrow. Makhubele, whose appointment as the team’s head coach came into effect on Monday this week, was put to the test in their game against VFA on Wednesday.

The Mikhado goal poachers, Aluwani “Killer” Nedzamba, Rendani “Sailor” Thavhana, Bornwise Molobo and Dibate Mahlakoane, are poised to get the Dolphins’ defenders running for cover from the onset to the end.

Tshakhuma RO Nandilani (TRON) will pay a visit to Mighty FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. Mighty are fighting for survival. They are perched in the second-last position on the log. Giyani Happy Boys will host Ngwaabe City Motors at the Giyani Stadium. Magezi FC will entertain Eleven Fast Tigers at the Manamela Sport Field outside Polokwane.

Venda Football Academy will travel to Makotopong village outside Polokwane. They will lock horns with Makotopong Brazilians at the Nchabiseko Stadium. The match between Ndengeza FC and Polokwane United will be played at the Giyani Stadium on Sunday. The remaining ABC Motsepe League weekend fixtures are: Ollesdal FC vs Polokwane City Academy and Barracah Valley vs Ditlou FC.
