Tricky hurdle for Diski Leopards

After losing 0-2 to Mamelodi Sundowns at the Thohoyandou Stadium last Saturday, the Multichoice Diski Challenge Black Leopards have another mountain to climb this weekend. They will undertake a journey to Pretoria where they will lock horns with Highlands Park at the Lucas Moripe Stadium tomorrow afternoon (Saturday).

Leopards managed to collect only three points from their nine matches and are currently at the bottom of the log. Whether the Leopards’ strikers, Selby Rapatsa, Amukelani Chauke and Tiklas Thutlwa, will have enough strength to penetrate the defence of Park remains to be seen.

The game is scheduled to start at 12:00. SuperSport United will entertain Kaizer Chiefs at the same venue later in the afternoon. Chippa United will host Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Isaac Wolfson Stadium in Port Elizabeth.

Polokwane City will lock horns with Maritzburg United at the Seshego Stadium. Baroka FC meet Bidvest Wits at the Bidvest Stadium in Johannesburg. Bidvest Wits are leading the pack while Baroka are one of the teams fighting for survival.

Amazulu and Stellenbosch will meet at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban in one of the three matches that will be played on Sunday. Bloemfontein Celtic will battle it out for league points against Cape Town City at the Lucas Moripe Stadium outside Pretoria. Mamelodi Sundowns will take on Orlando Pirates at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
