Soccer extravaganza at Rabali Stadium

This weekend marks the start of the league activities for the teams affiliated to the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League.

The season will commence with two festivals. The first extravaganza will be at the Rabali Stadium in the Nzhelele Valley tomorrow, where four matches will be staged.

The day’s programme will be opened by the match between the newly promoted Ngwabe City Motors and The Dolphins FC at 10:00. The Dolphins were one of the hot title chasers last season. Baraccah Valley will lock horns with Venda Football Academy, or Great North FC as they were formerly known, in the second fixture.

The next match will be between Magesi FC and Ollesdal FC at 14:00. Mighty FC and Mikhado FC will wrap up the day’s programme. This match is scheduled to kick off at 16:00. Mikhado were on the brink of signing three former professional players at the time of our going to press.

Three matches will be staged at the Giyani Stadium on Sunday. Eleven Fast Tigers will take on Tshakhuma RO Na Ndilani (TRON) at 11:00. TRON escaped relegation by a whisker last season. Makotopong Brazilians will take on Ndengeza FC at 13:00, while Happy Boys will have a date with Polokwane Academy, starting at 15:00.

Ditlou FC and Polokwane United will meet in Groblersdal in the only match that will be played this afternoon (Friday).
