Can Chippas stop Maindis Ladies?

Whether Chippas United Ladies will rise to the occasion and stop Maindis Ladies when they meet in their Sasol Women’s League match at the Tshifudi Stadium tomorrow afternoon remains to be seen.

Maindis are currently leading the pack with 28 points, accumulated from 10 matches. Their worst result was a 1-1 draw with Shayandima Morning Stars at the Shayandima School grounds two months ago.

Chippas are lying in third place, nine points behind Maindis. They lost 1-2 against Samba Girls at the Tshirenzheni School grounds last Saturday.

Although it was an away fixture for them, Maindis managed to collect maximum points by beating Real Mighty Girls 2-0 at the Mabalani grounds outside Giyani.

Tshandama Young Stars will host Real Mighty Girls at the Tshandama grounds. Tshandama are languishing at the bottom of the log. They are still to win a league match this season. They lost 0-2 to Shayandima Morning Stars at the Shayandima School grounds last Saturday.

Samba Girls will undertake a journey to Nwamitwa village outside Tzaneen. They will lock horns with Sisters FC at the Nwamitwa Dynamos grounds.

Shayandima Morning Stars will visit Botlokwa Ladies at the Sefene School grounds in Matoks. The other weekend fixtures are: Fifty Stars vs Seven Stars, Skimzozo Ladies vs Re Tla Dira, University of Limpopo vs Moria Sweepers and Kanatla Ladies vs Mandebele Happy Fighters.
