Mikhado and Great North in action

Mikhado FC must beat Great North in order to keep their title hopes alive when they meet in their ABC Motsepe League match at the Rabali Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

Mikhado are currently in the fourth position on the log with 50 points, accumulated from 25 outings, while the pace setters, Madridtas FC, have deposited 55 points into their league account to date.

The fact that Madridtas have played a match more than Mikhado is reason enough for the club from the Nzhelele Valley to believe that chances are good for them to shine on top of the log, come the end of the season.

Great North have nothing at stake in the match as they are on the safe side when it comes to relegation. The Polokwane side are lying in the 12^th spot on the log with 26 points.

Mikhado are in a celebratory mood after beating Boyne Young Tigers 4-1 at the Boyne Stadium last Saturday. The spirit is also high in the Great North camp after they crushed Magezi FC 7-1 at the Seshego Stadium.

Mikhado will pin their hopes for goals on players such as Thulani Mabizela, Vutomi Ngomana and Thabang Makondo.

The other Vhembe-based side, Tshakhuma RO Nandilani (TRON), will undertake a journey to Polokwane where they will test their strength against Magezi FC at the TT Cholo Stadium. Ndengeza FC will host Ditlou FC at the Giyani Stadium.

The Polokwane derby between Polokwane Academy and Boyne Young Tigers will be staged at the Seshego Stadium.

Giyani Hotspurs will meet The Dolphins, while Ollesdal FC will have a date with Polokwane United at the Seshego Stadium.

Baraccah Valley will play in front of their home crowd in their match against Pusela City at the Matebe Sports Complex outside Jane Furse. Mighty FC will host Madridtas FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in the only match that will be played this afternoon (Friday) starting at 15:00.
