Rockers to face XI Bullets

 

The high-riding Rockers will play two away matches in the MMK Administrators League this weekend. They will meet Phiphidi Bush Bucs on Saturday and Vondwe XI Bullets on Sunday.

Bullets played to draw with Makhuvha All Stars last weekend and their manager, Mr Phathutshedzo Siebe, said that the team was preparing hard for the match against the current log leaders of Stream C, Rockers.  He called on his players to redeem themselves when they played this weekend. “We need to show character and must make up for the three points we lost,” said Siebe.

The coach of Rockers, Mr Maxwell Magula, said that they did not want to lose this match. He added that the players knew it was now a matter of do or die. According to him, their aim was to win the remaining matches, saying that would be good enough to them to qualify for the promotional play-offs.

Makhitha Oscar Stars will host Tshikhwani Stone Breakers in Stream E. The coach of Stone Breakers, Mr Tsotso Mulaudzi, said that he was happy with the way the team was developing. “The boys were doing their best and we have a good understanding.”

The Stream A log leaders, United Artist, will play two matches this weekend. They will meet Matskali Sky Rangers and Tshisimani Professionals on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

In Stream B, Madridtas will play against Musasenda Big XI and Gaba Union Fighters on Saturday and Sunday.

In Stream D, Tshivhazwaulu Peace Makers will play against Vyeboom Marikana, while Makhitha Oscar Stars will test their strength against Tshikhwani Stone Breakers in Stream E.

Wayeni Sea Robbers will play against Mabidi Mighty Green and Masakona United on Saturday and Sunday in Stream F.

The current log leaders of Stream G, Maelula United Brothers, will host Tshiendeulu New Castle. Bale FC will fight for points with Annel Real Vikings and Maramanzhi Pull Together on Saturday and Sunday in Stream H.
