Maccabi to pay for TTM’s defeat?

After losing their second league match against Ubuntu Cape Town two weeks ago, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) are determined to make a comeback and make Maccabi FC pay for their defeat when they meet in their National First Division League match at the Thohoyandou Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

According to Mr Livhuwani Madzuhe, the marketing manager of TTM, Maccabi will go back to Johannesburg with empty hands. Madzuhe said that Maccabi were unfortunate because they were coming to Thohoyandou at a time when Vhadau Vha-Damani are hungry for points like never before.

TTM will be without their right back, Happy Mashau, tomorrow. Mashau is still under suspension after seeing red in their game against Stellenbosch FC in Cape Town last month. The likes of Carlington Nyadombo, Patrick Meson and Tshepo Makgoga will be expected to do the job in the absence of Mashau.

The defenders for Maccabi must keep a watchful eye on the TTM strikers, Aluwani “Killer” Nedzamba, David Zulu and Edward Maqele, or else they will not know what will have hit them at the end of the game.

Cape Umoya United and Ubuntu Cape Town will meet at the Boland Stadium. Uthongathi FC must beat Stellenbosch FC if they are serious about gaining promotion to the elite league at the end of the season. Stellenbosch are currently leading the pack while Uthongathi are in the fifth spot.

Mbombela United will play against TS Galaxy at the Kanyamazane Stadium in Nelspruit, while Ajax Cape Town will host Royal Eagles at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town. TS Sporting will travel to Pretoria, where they will fight for points against the University of Pretoria.

The other fixtures are: Richards Bay FC vs Witbank Spurs and Jomo Cosmos vs Real Kings.
