According to one of the organisers, Mr Calvin Sihwili, Matangari High Aims were dismissed from the tournament after it was discovered that they had fielded an improperly registered player in their match against Edison Muraida FC, whom they beat 3-1.

This year’s champions will receive R6 000 and soccer kit. The runners-up will receive R3 000 and the teams booted out of the tournament in the semi-final stage will each receive a cash prize of R1 000.
