Out because of injury -  Leopards’ left back, Lebohang Mabotja.

Leopards to face All Stars

After playing to a 1-1 draw with Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in their Vhembe derby at the Thohoyandou Stadium last Sunday, Black Leopards are determined to collect the maximum league points when they host Cape Town All Stars at the same venue tomorrow afternoon.

The fact that Black Leopards and Cape Town All Stars are in the race for the league title is reason enough for the local football lovers to expect to watch a thriller.

All Stars shared the spoils with Jomo Cosmos last weekend.

Lidoda Duvha will be welcoming their veteran midfielder, Morgan Shivambu, back to the team after he had served a two-match suspension. Shivambu was given his marching orders in their game against Richards Bay FC on 16 December last year.

Should he be given a chance, Shivambu is expected to form a deadly combination with Phathutshedzo Nange and Meshack Maphangule in the middle of the park. Two of the Leopards’ key defenders, Lebohang Mabotja and Thivhavhudzi Ndou, will watch the game from the grandstand. They are still nursing injuries.

Uthongathi FC will host Jomo Cosmos at the Princes Magogo Stadium in Durban. Stellenbosch FC and Mthatha Bucks will clash at the Parow Park Stadium in Cape Town. Things are fast moving from bad to worse in the Stellenbosch camp. They lost three matches in a row.

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila will play against Witbank Spurs at the Puma Rugby Stadium in Emalahleni.

Royal Eagles and Richards Bay FC, who are both fighting for survival, will meet at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg. Super Eagles will pay a visit to Real Kings at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Durban and Mbombela United will host the University of Pretoria at the Kanyamazane Stadium in Nelspruit.

Ubuntu Cape Town will entertain Highlands Park at the Parow Park Stadium in the only match that will be played on Sunday.
