Another humiliation for Mikhado FC

Mikhado Football Club have reason to press the panic button. After losing 2-3 to Madridtas FC at the Rabali Stadium two weeks ago, Mikhado continued to donate league points to their opponents last weekend. This time around, they lost 0-1 to Polokwane Academy at the Polokwane Rugby Stadium on Saturday.

Mikhado recently secured the services of three experienced players, Lerato Chabangu, Christopher “Matari” Netshidzivhe and a goalkeeper, Amon Phophi, in a bid to strengthen their ailing squad. Mikhado are now lying in the second-last position on the log. They have won only one of the nine matches they have played to date.

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila rose to the occasion and registered their first victory last weekend. They beat Madridtas 1-0 at the Tshifudi Stadium. Thabiso Maitsapo scored the goal for TTM.

Joe Maweja gave away league points to The Dolphins FC, following their 0-1 defeat. The Dolphins were awarded a penalty towards the end of the game and David Nkoana made no mistake from the white spot. The defeat leaves Maweja at the bottom of the log with only 3 points accumulated from 8 matches.

The pace setters, Ndengeza FC, kept their title hopes alive by beating Giyani Hotspurs 3-1 at the Giyani Stadium. Baroka FC could not absorb the pressure from Great North FC, to whom they lost 0-1 at the Seshego Stadium.

The only match that ended in a draw was between Molemole Academy and Ditlou FC. They played to a 1-1 draw at the Polokwane Rugby Fields. Mighty FC lost 0-3 to Boyne Young Tigers at the Boyne Stadium.
