Away matches for Leopards and TTM

The two Vhembe District-based sides in the National First Division, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) and Black Leopards, will play their matches away from home this weekend.

TTM will visit Highlands Park at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa tomorrow. While the spirit is high in TTM’s camp after winning their first league match at the Thohoyandou Stadium last Saturday, the situation is totally different in the Park’s camp.

Highlands Park are still in shock after losing 1-2 to University of Pretoria at the Absa Tuks Stadium in Pretoria.

TTM’s forwards, Mpambaniso Monde, Lesvin Stoffels and Aluwani “Killer” Nedzamba, are expected to keep the Park’s defence running for cover, while Pail Nuzhard and Frank Motebejane will make things happen in the middle of the park.

Black Leopards will fly to the Western Cape for their match against Stellenbosch FC at the Parow Park Stadium. It remains to be seen whether Lidoda Duvha will make Stellenbosch pay for the 0-1 defeat they suffered at the hands of Uthongathi FC at the Princess Magogo Stadium in Durban last Sunday.

The combination of the Leopards’ bulldozer strikers, Thembisani Nevhulamba and Mwape Musonda, is strong enough to make Lidoda Duvha proud against Stellenbosch.

Mthatha Bucks will host Witbank Spurs at the Mthatha Stadium. Ubuntu Cape Town will meet Real Kings at the Harry Gwala Stadium. The University of Pretoria will host Royal Eagles, while Super Eagles will play against Uthongathi FC at the Goble Park Stadium in Bethlehem.

In the two matches to be played on Sunday, the pace setters, Cape Town All Stars, will have a date with Mbombela United at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town. All Stars are still to lose a league match to date. They won two of the three matches they have played to date and drew one. Jomo Cosmos will entertain Richards Bay FC at the Vosloorus Stadium in Johannesburg.
