Khapakhapa are the Build-It champions

 

Khapakhapa Primary School were crowned the Build-It U/13 football champions during a tournament that was staged at the Majosi Primary School grounds last Saturday.

Khapakhapa beat Majosi Primary 3-1 in the final to lift the trophy. Khapakhapa’s way to the final went via Njhakanjhaka, whom they brutally walloped 5-0 in the semifinal.

Khapakhapa were presented with two trophies, soccer kit, soccer ball, bibs and travelling bags during a ceremony held at the grounds after the final. Njhakanjhaka Primary took home soccer kit, a trophy and bibs.

The third-placed side, Mahlatlani Primary, received a trophy, a soccer ball, bibs and10 water bottles. Majosi Primary (fourth), received a trophy, soccer ball, bibs, a travelling bag and 10 water bottles.

The results of the semi-final matches are: Khapakhapa 5, Njhakanjhaka 0 and Majosi 5, Mahatlani 0. Mahatlani crushed Njhakanjhaka 5-0 in their losers’ final match.

The Njhanjhaka branch of the Build-It Hardware Store sponsored the tournament.
