Chippas ready to beat Mighty Girls

It will be business as usual for the affiliates of the Limpopo Stream of the Sasol Women’s League this weekend.

After playing two league matches away from home, Chippas United Ladies will entertain their home crowd this weekend. They will host Real Mighty Girls at the Makhuvha Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

Chippas played to a 1-1 draw with Sisters Ladies at the Nwamitwa grounds last Sunday and are now tied with Shayandima Morning Stars on 13.

Tshandama Young Stars will host Shayandima Morning Stars at the Tshandama grounds. Morning Stars are currently in the third spot on the log with 13 points. On the other hand, Young Stars are perched in the sixth position with only three points.

Team Herman will host the Sisters Ladies at the Malamulele Stadium. Herman are still to deposit a point into their league account.

The pace setters, Maindis FC, will travel to Giyani Stadium where they will play against Mountain Tigers. It remains to be seen whether the defence of Tigers will have the power to stop Maindis’ strikers, Noko Matlou, Xiluva Tshabalala, Lebohang Ramalepe and Ntombizodwa “Fish” Nhlapo. Maindis are still to drop a league point so far. They have won all seven their matches played to date.

Botlokwa Ladies will play against Re Tla Dira Ladies at the Sefene High School grounds. Seven Stars will visit Modimolle Ladies at the Nylstroom Hoërskool's grounds, while the University of Limpopo will travel to Mphanama village for their match against Mphanama Ladies. In the final match of the weekend, Moria Sweepers will host Kanatla Ladies at the Moria grounds.
