Sportswise team embarks on roadshow

 

This coming week will be a very busy one for the Limpopo Sportswise team. 

Their general manager, Mr Victor Hlungwani, confirmed that the team will visit eight local high schools from Monday until Thursday.

Sportswise team members are current and former professional football players.

John Mbhedlhe High School at Xihosani village outside Malamulele will be the first school to be visited on Monday morning. Their Monday tour will end at the Hlalukweni High School. Two schools, Hanyani Nkuzana and Russel Bungeni, will be visited the following day.

The team will proceed to Giyani on Wednesday, where they will visit Nhluvuko High School and Skhunyani High School.

The last two schools to be visited on Thursday are Mashooro High and Khesethwane High, both based in the Tzaneen area. According to Hlungwani, the team members will receive an opportunity to motivate and share their experiences with the pupils. The issues that the team members will share with the pupils range from educational and financial to drug and alcohol abuse.

Some of the Sportswise team members are Tebogo Monyai (captain of University of Pretoria FC), David Mathebula (Supersport United), Morgan Shivambu (Black Leopards), Tiyani Mabunda (Mamelodi Sundowns), Ishmael Maluleke (Mamelodi Sundowns), Gladwin Shitole (Orlando Pirates), Oscarine Masuluke (Baroka FC), Wiseman Malulele (Jomo Cosmos), Collins Chabalala (Bloemfontein Celtics), Justice Chabalala (Chippa United), Tonic Chabalala (Dynamos), Tshikani Nkondo (Santos), December Ngobeni (Platinum Stars), Sipho Mchavi (Platinum Stars) and Tshepo Rikhotso (Bloemfontein Celtic).
