Dynamos overpower Soutpansberg

Tshiozwi Dynamos rectified their mistakes and beat the on-form Soutpansberg Powerline 3-2 in an MMK Adminstrators League match at Tshiozwi on Sunday.

Dynamos approached the game aggressively, with their strikers showing a great appetite for goals. Nndwakhulu Maliboho of Powerline was the first player to go into the referee’s book. He tackled Veron Mpasha from behind just outside the penalty box.

Dynamos were leading by a goal at half time. Their opening goal came in the 35th minute. Hlamulo Ndlovu scored with a header after a corner kick that was taken by Muhangwi Mukosi.

Powerline were the first to effect a change to their starting line-up. They replaced Itani Mulaudzi with Dovhani Maemu in the third minute of the second half. Muaudzi formed a deadly combination with Rudzani Nebulu at the forefront.

Powerline equalized through Jayson Maisha. He was on target after intercepting a back pass.

Dynamos did not lose hope, despite the goal. Powerline lost shape in the middle of the park after the equalizer. Dynamos introduced Maries Ndou for Takalani Sadiki as part of their many ways to neutralize their opponents. Ndlovu scored the second for Dynamos and completed his brace after a scramble within the box.

Lutendo Mulaudzi of Dynamos shot wide from close range, but Veron Mpashe was on target in the 74th minute to bring the score to 3-1. He finished off a rebound after Hlamulo Ndlovu tried his luck from outside the box. Rudzani Nebulu of Powerli reduced the margin late in the match.
