Ms Boitumelo Makwasena Radzuma, mother of Boitumelo Kenndies who went missing last month, is very happy that their daughter is back home.

Missing 11-year-old girl reunited with family

So many cases of missing persons have been reported over the last few years, with few families who share their reunions with their loved ones. The Radzuma family, however, felt it only right to inform the public that their 11-year-old girl, Boitumelo Kenndies, who had gone missing on 23 May this year, was back home.

The child was found at a village outside Musina and reunited with her family on 10 June. The family did not want to elaborate on the circumstances surrounding her disappearance but said that Boitumelo was well. Her mother, Ms Boitumelo Makwasena Radzuma, said she was very thankful to everyone who had taken the trouble to help look for their daughter.

“I really am out of words. Musina residents worked like a family after news that my child has gone missing went viral. It was a night-and-day search, with the help of the police. My special thank you goes to Peter Ryder, Eric Maluleke, Lufuno Khadambi, Zwodangani Mudau and Reekson Matamela, who initiated the search for my child,” she said, adding that these individuals continued when the police’s search at friends, relatives and the surrounding area had yielded no results.
