Please help find and return Wiggle

A red-brown Boerboel bitch was stolen in the vicinity of Shoprite in Louis Trichardt on 20 May, sometime during the morning, and her owners are desperately looking for her.

Wiggle is old, between 13 to 15 years, and has a brown leather collar on. A Rasta-man was seen walking with her in Songozwi Street (near Ackermans) later the same day. He had tied a white cord to Wiggle’s collar as a leash and was trying to sell her off. Someone took photos of them and posted it on Facebook. Friends of the owners, who were by then already searching everywhere for their dog, were notified by friends, who recognised Wiggle on Facebook.

By late afternoon yesterday, the Rasta man was seen around the taxi rank, but without Wiggle. The police were called and the man was seized for questioning, but before they could find out what he may had done with the dog, he ran away.

The owners are making an urgent appeal to whoever might have seen Wiggle, or know where she might be, to please bring her back or make contact with them.
