Musina police investigates murder after gruesome discovery

The Musina Police have asked the public to help them find the killer(s) of a young woman, whose decomposed body was discovered on a farm in the area over the weekend.

According to the police spokesperson for the Makhado SAPS, Const Irene Radzilane, the young woman was identified as Madzikova Mushaathama (27). She was reported missing on 4 January. Her remains were discovered by a passerby.

“Her body was found with both hands and legs tied with a rope, and her neck fastened against the tree. The motive for this gruesome killing is unknown and police investigations are continuing,” Radzilane said.
