For nine years the community of Hamadala Mirenzheni in Dzwerani outside Thohoyandou was without a chief after the passing on of the late Archbishop Mululamisi Madala Mulaudzi.
The late archbishop passed on in 2008.The rough spell the community had been going through came to a joyful end at the weekend when the late archbishop’s son, Samuel Madala Mulaudzi, was installed as chief in the area.
The 27-year-old new chief was officially installed by senior traditional leader Thovhele Ndadezo Nelwamondo during a ceremony attended by many traditional leaders, pastors, community members and other guests. Vhafuwi Livhuwani Matsila was the guest speaker.
