Mudau hopes to be the next Miss Limpopo Heritage

Twenty-year-old Tshisima Andy Mudau from Vuwani Ha- Manavhela is among the Top 20 finalists for the Miss Limpopo Heritage 2022 pageant, and she has high hopes of winning the competition.

The Miss Limpopo Heritage pageant aims to promote youths, break the cycle of violence and crime, and embrace heritage and culture – something that seems to motivate Mudau as well. “We don’t get to be taught about our culture and heritage as much these days, so I’m very excited to be part of this competition.”

Mudau said that she could not enter the pageant before as she was still in high school. “I was focusing on my studies first, but now that I have completed my matric, I would like to focus on my real passion, and that is modelling,” she said.

Her motto for the competition is: “I don’t want to be a supermodel, but a role model to others. Also, I may not make it today, but tomorrow I will because I am not a loser.”

Mudau will be doing a lot of charity work during the remainder of the competition, with the crowning ceremony taking place at the Thohoyandou Arts and Culture Hall, near Thavhani Mall, on 24 September 2022.

Anyone who would like to help her with sanitary-towel donations for her charity project can take them to her personally or contact her on her cellphone number.

She is available on Facebook (Andy Chisima) and can be reached directly on 060 863 6499.
