Rabonda makes an entrance in the gospel industry

Read: 647

To the delight of gospel-music lovers, Ronewa Rabonda finally released his much-anticipated debut single, Dzithendo ndi dza vho, on Monday, 2 May 2022. Rabonda, who hails from Tshiulungoma village near Thohoyandou, promises that this is only the beginning of much greater things to come from his career in the gospel-music industry.

Although this is his first song to be released, Rabonda is not a novice in gospel-music circles. He had in the past worked and shared a stage with seasoned gospel music artists such as Palesa Ravele, Taki Sikhwivhilu and Shandukani Changes, to name but a few, so many fans remember his name well. “My peers will remember me as the small boy with the golden voice who used to lead morning devotions in hymns at Tshiulungoma Primary School. I continued to do the same when I went on to high school at Azwifarwi and Mukhwantheli. I still enjoy leading the singing at the Living World Gospel Mission church, where I am a staunch member. In fact, the world changes form when I am behind the microphone.”

Dzithendo ndi dza vho was supposed to have been released some time ago already, but everything was delayed because of the outbreak of the coronavirus. “I had to stop working on the song several times because of the travel restrictions and strict Covid-19 regulations. There was no need for me to rush, though, because I know that God’s time is the best. I prayed and asked God to provide me with the perfect time to release the song, and my prayers have finally been answered. I serve a living God who never disappoints. The most important thing is to be patient and just trust Him.”

The track was recorded, arranged, mastered and produced by Hulani Tshamaano at H Recording Studios in Maniini, near Thohoyandou, and is available in all online digital stores.

For public performances, music sales and bookings, Rabonda is available on 079 741 0576 (voice calls and WhatsApp), Facebook (Rabonda Ronewa), Instagram (Rabonda Ronewa), and YouTube (Rabonda Ronewa).
