Tintswalo tries to help heal the pain of a break-up

Read: 1453

Tintswalo Christian Nkuna, a resident of Nkuzana village, has just published an inspirational and devotional book titled On My Knees Again.

She explained that people who suffered from heartache because of a break-up were not always accommodated, especially when they were not married.

“I was motivated to write this book after seeing the large number of single people who have experienced heartbreak in love relationships, as well as divorced people who don't always have someone to talk to about their pain, and the confusion that comes with having to navigate through life after a heartbreak,” she said.

She said that On My Knees Again is a follow-up of her first book, Single Again. “On My Knees Again is a devotional book in which I share my thoughts on love, separation, breakups, divorce, co-parenting and step-parenting, and the conversations I had with God about these issues when I experienced them,” she said. “I share 21 issues that I have had to take to God in prayer, in order to get the courage, wisdom and comfort to face them.”

Nkuna added that the book aimed to help the heartbroken at times when they did not even know how to pray or what to say to God about their pain. “It is for every person who has experienced failure in any love relationship, whether marriage or just a dating relationship,” she said. “So, with this book, I want to give them the comfort of knowing that God cares and is concerned about every detail of their life, including their love life. I want to help someone to trust God and open up to Him about those issues that they are not able to discuss with other people out of fear of being judged or that they will not be understood.”

She said that she wanted people to understand that, in the most confusing moments of heartbreak, they had a friend in Christ, who is able to touch their deepest emotions and that He never became tired of hearing them pour out their hearts to Him as they continuously went on their knees in prayer.

“Readers can order the book directly from me by contacting me on my social media platforms,” she said.
