"I make music for people who believe in the truth. No story is too big or small, music is power and Hip Hop saved me."

These are the words of a talented young rapper, Osome Feyn, who is cementing his place in the music industry with his unique rapping skills and quality music.

Osome Feyn, whose real name is Vhuthu Tshisikule, said the stage name is derived from the word 'awesome'. "I consider myself to be an awesome rapper," he said. He has been a rapper and songwriter for four years now.

When asked when he fell in love with Hip Hop, he said: "Hip Hop is all I have known in my life. I grew up as a shy kid who always got bullied. At the age of 16, I finally got the confidence to write rhymes and make music based on my experiences while growing up as a kid in Venda. Since then, I've fallen deeper in love with it."

He moved from Venda to Gauteng to craft his rapping skills. "The move has made a huge difference in my career. My single entitled Thuli is a hit in Limpopo. Before the lockdown, I was performing all over the country in a bid to grow my fan base. I am excited about what the future holds for me," he said.

He released his first EP, entitled W.O.K.E, in 2018. His recently released EP is entitled Painted.

Osome Feyn want to be an inspiration to other young rappers. "Limpopo is blessed with talented young rappers; all they need is an opportunity to showcase their talent," he said. "I want to lead by example and become a success, so that other rappers can be inspired to do the same. I want young rappers to become more confident in their craft like I am doing."
