Women of strength: A book worth reading for women

Read: 1509

In an effort to motivate women, Ndikandafhi Nemafhuohoni, an author from Musina, has just published her book, Women of strength.

Nemafhuohoni says the book is a must-read for all women. "If you are not yet married, be strong in your waiting. If you are already married, be strong in protecting your marriage and family. And always arm yourself with the word of God and prayer."

The idea to write this book was conceived as the result of a prophetic instruction that she received from God. "It was His will that I pen this book, so that all women can realize how much power they have within themselves. If you know the amount of power you have, use it the right way to change our world," she says.

"Today we see a lot of families suffering because women who are supposed to stand up and protect their families are not sure of their own abilities. Instead of standing up boldly to protect their marriages, they run to other people to seek help. Through this book, I want women to know that they must change strategies with which they are fighting the devil because if they continue to fight him in their own ways, they will be defeated."

It is only through the word of God, she says, that women can refuel themselves and win a fight. "God is the one who created marriage, so it must be obvious to all of us that He is the only one who can train us better to be good soldiers in His kingdom. It is also my aim to awaken some of my sisters who are swimming in the pools of defeat while they are inside our churches. Going to church every Sunday alone is not enough if we want to remain standing after our battle with the devil. We must learn to pray for our families and marriages. There are a lot of women who go to church every Sunday but still come back to broken families. That must stop," she says.

With this book, she wants to produce strong and powerful women who will be able to face any challenge and defeat it. "I want women to know that raising their children to obey the word of God is very important as this will leave no room for the devil to attack their families. No matter how strong you are as a woman, if you don’t raise your children in such a way that they obey the word of God, the devil will use them to attack you and your marriage."
