Kingdmusic releases Child of Heaven

Read: 1275

Multiple award-winning gospel artist Kingdmusic has released a new single, Child of heaven.

With everything that is currently happening in the world, Kingdmusic said Child of heaven was a great reminder and powerful declaration of who we are and whose we are. The song is very close to his heart. “God gave me the song idea when I was at the lowest point in my life. After going into music and ministry full time, I got depressed for a few months. Things were tough for me financially, emotionally, and mentally, and that affected me spiritually. People whom I thought I could count on were not in my corner when I needed them the most,” he said.

He added: "This left me in a vulnerable space and I heard the enemy say things to me like; ‘you are a failure, you are not loved, you are alone, you are not worth it, you are a sinner and you don't deserve God's grace.’ I felt alone, and that was when the Holy Spirit reminded me of who I am and directed me to the book of Ephesians. I regained my confidence through scripture, and now we have a song. I pray this song reminds you of what you carry, who you are and whose you are. You are a child of heaven. Jesus knows your name.”

Kingdmusic said this was a perfect song to sing with your loved ones. "It’s easy to forget that we are the children of the heavenly kingdom and carry all that God has placed in us, especially in the midst of chaos like the Covid-19 pandemic. We need songs like these that are coming straight from the word of God to remind us that we are not alone. God is on our side. No matter what the world may say, we stand by the word of God."

The song was inspired by Ephesians 1:3-14 and Revelations 1:18 and is available on all digital stores. For bookings, write to [email protected].
