Radzilani launches his third book

Read: 2015

Local author Mulisawanga Radzilani is set to launch his third motivational book, The unbreakable woman, on Saturday, 29 February, at the Muledane Church of Christ.

Born and bred in Muledane Block J, the 27-year-old Radzilani said the book was about empowering women to realise their own strength, build their own empire and to live their dreams and not to depend on anyone. "A man is not a solution for an amazing life. You can become something big by yourself," Radzilani said.

When asked why he had penned the book, he said: "I was hurt and touched by terrible stories of women abuse and killings in our country. Most of the stories are related to relationship issues. So, with this book, women will learn not to tolerate any form of abuse. Not to rely on men's strength or his finance, but to make their own money and live their dreams."

He wants the book to be a healing to those who have been a victim of any form of abuse. "It will re-energize those who gave up on their dreams. They will realise that they are indeed unbreakable, and they can achieve anything in this life," he said.

The 108-page book took him four years to complete. It is published by Netbing Publishers. Two of the books under his belt are Know what you are living for, which focuses on explaining to people what their purpose in life should be, and Be a student everywhere in life, which aims to instil confidence in pupils that they should be educated.

He said that he realised he had leadership qualities within him, because in everything he did with his friends, they always wanted him to be the team leader. “My motivational gift became evident when I was still studying at Thohoyandou Secondary School. I was the best student in oral presentations and my speeches would inspire my classmates. Teachers started to encourage me to follow this dream of being a motivational speaker."

He started motivating local learners in 2014 and many local schools then believed in him and offered him a platform to change the lives of the pupils. "I always had a dream of changing people’s lives and to bring hope to the hopeless. I have passion for motivating pupils and I enjoy helping them to follow their career path,” he said.
