Jah Soldier releases new CD Ndi a livhuwa

An award-winning reggae artist, Tendani Maiwashe (39), better known as Jah Soldier, has just released a new CD, Ndi a Livhuwa, meaning I thank you.

He was born and bred in Mbilwi-Makanga village near Sibasa. He said that the CD comprised nine tracks. Some of the songs on the CD are Youth and drugs, Hu dolwa vhone, Vhule-Vhule, the title track, Ndi a Livhuwa, Tsha mahola, Mudzimu ndi lufuno (God is Love) and Thukhukhanya

“On the title track, Ndi a Livhuwa, I was thanking God for the blessings I received with the previous album, Nndededze. The album received a TSHIMA for the best Tshivenda reggae artist of 2015 and was also nominated for a SATMA Award in the same year.

He said on the track Hudolwa vhone he wanted to tell his fans that only God could fight all the fights for his children whenever they encountered hardships. On the track Vhule-vhule he said he was praising his mother for the upbringing, protection and guidance throughout his life.

On the track, Mudzimu Ndi Lufuno (God is love), he said he wanted people to trust and live by Agape love (which is God’s love), because with God’s love there was no failure and enmities.

All songs were composed by Jah Soldier and recorded at Burning Shack Studio in Thohoyandou and produced by Mulalo Mukwevho.
