An award-winning gospel artist, apostle Mbavhalelo Mabilu Mafharalala, well-known as Mbavhalelo MMM, said that she hoped to win another award. This came after she was nominated for the Limpopo Gospel Music Awards (LIGMAs) in the categories traditional gospel artist and album of the year with her album Athinga neti u gwadama.
"Things have been looking good for me lately. I remember that I was also nominated for the Tshima 4 in 2017 and I didn't win. It pained me, but I worked hard on my new album and I have been enjoying the results of my hard work."
The final nominees of the LIGMAS were announced over the weekend in Polokwane.
Mbavhalelo recently won the 2018 Tshivenda Music Award for best Tshivenda/African traditional gospel artist/album of the year. She said that it was like a dream come true when her name was called as the winner. Mbavhalelo is signed with Miriri Productions. She thanked her family, friends, fans, Miriri productions' management and Pastor Sam Phupheli for their support.
